The rat race – it’s a cycle most of us know too well. Wake up, work, come home, sleep, and repeat.
For many dads in their 30s, it feels like there’s no way out.
When you check your Instagram feed it tells us that the only escape is to start a business, but not all of us want to risk our stability, family time, or sanity for the sake of building a business from scratch.
The truth is, you don’t need to quit your nine-to-five to escape the rat race.
You can break free and simplify your life, your finances, and your time without having to start a business.
Here’s a step-by-step guide on how I did it.
First, you need to redefine what success means for you. Success isn’t always a bigger paycheck or a higher title.
For me it’s about having control over my time and energy. It’s about being present with my family, having peace of mind, and living life on my terms.
That’s the freedom I´m after.
The rat race convinces you that success equals working more and/or earning more.
