In the era of Artificial Intelligence where every tech giant is trying to push their team to use more and more AI. People are constantly talking about pros and cons of AI and its effects on humans.
Here is my list of skills that every human being should master. Irrespective of how good AI is becoming, everyone must need it somewhere in their life.
As it is said that everyone should learn anything to a level where one can correct their own mistakes. To correct self mistakes, you should know yourself and that comes from self-reflection. No matter where you are or what you do you should spare some time and reflect on your own self.
Meditation is the key to give rest to your brain, which keeps working every time even when you are sleeping. But when you are in a state of meditation you can give it rest, by non sleeping deep rest. In the state of meditation your brain repairs itself plus gives you calmness for any situation.
Emotions have the power to govern someone in any direction, positive and negative both and most of the humans can’t control their emotions and move towards the negative side. No matter if you are male or female or some non binary gender, blooming these days. You should learn at least one fighting skill like Judo, Boxing, Jiu-jitsu, Kung fu, Taekwondo etc. This will not only give you confidence to handle situations in non civilised places but also helps you to have a toned physique and control over your body.
Yeah! Money is considered the power of the present era, as it solves too many problems and helps to sort too many things in the holder’s life. Making money is a skill almost every school and college helps to learn but magic is in managing money. One should focus on how to manage their money after earning it. You can either make wealth through it or just collect the liabilities and keep working as a slave of money. There are many ways of managing money, but that is a topic for another article, I might write and share some other day.
Life is not the same for all by birth. That is understandable but you might think that two people from the same school and same background take their life at different peaks. What could be the reason? Yeah, you guessed it right. Inquisitive thinking. Inquisitive thinking gives you various opportunities like watching a new layer open up every layer of an onion.
Most people think that they cannot change their current situation because of their habits and they are fixed. If you think the same, you are wrong my chap. In my opinion everyone should learn how to build habits [a topic for another article, I will write and tag that here]. By building a new habit you can experience a new you. I have tried more than 50 habits, I did a count a few weeks ago and am still building new ones.
Interesting fact that people with just IQ were succeeding a century ago but in the present era without social skills you can not think of success. As people have access to the internet, they have all the information and things are quite easy these days to develop. You can take the example of Tupperware, it used to be a famous brand for its designer lunch boxes but not doing well because of cheaper manufacturing players and the internet for people who want to create a new brand by connecting manufacturers and delivering products to end users. You might have sensed that if you are not good in your social skills you would not be able to fill this bridge.
I have read a quote somewhere, I don’t know the original author of it and credit goes to him or her (help me knowing their name), which says —
Act in Days; Think in Decades.
Most people make mistakes in their planning if I ask them to plan for a month or year, they will overestimate their capabilities but when we ask them to do a long term planning, they just calculate linearly but when you keep putting your efforts consistently the results comes in compounding. It is not limited to money but applicable in everything.
