Growing up, I dreamed of becoming a fighter pilot. It was my passion and my ultimate goal. My room was filled with photos of fighter jets, and I spent countless hours studying every detail of them, imagining the day I would soar through the skies.
I was consumed by this dream and put in the work—preparing for exams and interviews and sharing my ambitions with others.
However, when I finally went through the selection process, I didn’t make it through the final rounds. It was a huge disappointment, but life moved on as it always does.
Still fueled by my obsession with planes, I decided to pursue aeronautical engineering. Yet again, while there were dreams and aspirations, they never turned into reality.
Over time, other goals emerged — some were achieved, others weren’t.
The list kept growing, from personal targets like losing weight, looking good, and making friends to professional ambitions like earning money, getting promoted, or starting my own business.
As time passed, I started to feel like my dreams were just that—dreams. Many goals remained unmet, and I couldn’t understand why. I planned and wrote daily “to-do” lists, but things kept piling up, often tackled only at the last minute.
