Whether you’re a new or an experienced writer, we’ve all been there. The struggle is the same, but its reasons are diverse.

You want to write daily but struggle to complete and publish a story.

It is a common problem, but many have mastered it in their way.

Often, new writers face the Idea Shortage Syndrome! Not knowing what to write about.

Does it sound familiar to you?

Many articles have shared strategies to overcome this issue — from idea boards to eavesdropping on conversations, from strolling through nature to practicing mindfulness and beyond. You collect clues, prompts, thoughts, etc., and keep a pool of ideas.

However, new writers often discard many ideas. Reason? They are not meaty enough to stretch many pages or several minutes of reading time.

The problem with experienced writers, especially those writing business, historical, and technical content, is Content-Shortening Syndrome.

They want to showcase their skills — with extensive research and complex vocabularies — but overdo it. They go through the never-ending, time-consuming writing, editing, and perfecting cycle.

Is there a remedy?
