I can’t find the time.
How many times have you repeated this to yourself?
In the past, this was one of my favorite excuses.
It is also one of the reasons I procrastinated in the past.
I stopped saying I didn’t have enough time when I wanted to lose weight. I stopped saying it when I wanted to build a part-time business.
I get it. We’re all busy but we all get the same 24 hours a day. As we age, we marry and we have a family. Time suddenly is a scarce resource and we struggle.
At the same time, others seem to have more time than others. Why’s that?
Last year, I spent 218 days away from home, working 14 hours a day including weekends.
I was dead busy but still managed to take online courses and practice digital drawing. I learned Photoshop, Figma, and Webflow. I read books, I listen to podcasts every single day.
One day a friend asked me, ‘How do you find the time for all that?” I answer, ‘I look for it’.
You find time if you’re willing to put in the effort.
