Today was a busy day! I started by going to the leasing office to renew my house rent. It’s always a relief to get that sorted out for another year.
After that, I headed to the supermarket to buy some cat food for my furry friend. I always make sure he has the best food to keep him healthy and happy.
I had planned to go to my boxing class in the afternoon, but I changed my mind. I thought about attending an all-female networking event instead. However, in the end, I didn’t go to either one.
To be honest, I felt too lazy to go out. The summer heat in Dubai is really intense right now! These days, I only leave the house if I’m going to the gym or running important errands. The scorching heat makes it hard to want to do anything else.
Lately, my sleep schedule has been all over the place. I’ve been going to bed around 4 AM and waking up at 8 AM. That’s only four hours of sleep, which isn’t enough for anyone!
Part of the problem is my male cat. He’s in heat and making so much noise that it’s hard for me to sleep. I’ve decided to book an appointment to have him neutered. Hopefully, this will help him calm down and be quieter.
I really hope I can get back to my normal sleep routine soon. Ideally, I’d like to sleep from 11 PM to 7 AM. That would give me a solid eight hours of rest.
The trouble is, my brain seems to come alive around 10 PM. I can’t fall asleep unless I’m truly tired. Even when I try to skip my afternoon nap, I still end up going to bed late and waking up between 8 and 9 AM.
Maybe my body is adjusting to the fact that I no longer have a 9-to-5 job. Now I have the freedom to sleep and wake up whenever I want. While that sounds great, I’m worried that I’m wasting a lot of time. I’m most productive in the evenings, but my late nights are throwing off my whole schedule.
I’ve noticed that when I sleep less than seven hours, my brain doesn’t work as well. I need to do something about this because good sleep is really important to me. It’s time to make some changes and get my sleep schedule back on track!
