Quite recently, Fiverr launched a new Level System.
If you have no idea what the Seller levels are, take a look at this:
There are both good and bad news, but they differ from seller to seller.
- Good news: It is easier for sellers below Level 2 to advance.
- Bad news: It is harder for Level 2 sellers to advance to Top Seller.
Why?
That is because Fiverr’s staff evaluates Level 2 Sellers based on the traction of the category and subcategory they fall under.
Categories and subcategories with more demand than others will have more Level 2 Sellers promoted to Top Seller.
NEW METRICS
These are the metrics Fiverr now uses to promote you or demote you:
- Success score: Fiverr examines several factors of your gig (such as gig history and your relationship with your buyers) to determine your success score.
- Ratings: The average of the ratings you’ve received from your buyers.
- Response rate: Reflects how often you replied to new messages within 24 hours, over the last 90 days.
- Orders: Total number of orders you’ve completed.
- Unique clients you’ve worked with.
- Earnings you’ve made.
To see how you’re doing, you have to click the Level Overview tab under the Growth and Marketing menu.
CRITERIA OF PROMOTION
Take a look at the table below to see what you need to achieve in order to make it to the next level.
When moving up, you are promoted automatically until Level 2. To be promoted to Top Seller, you’ll have to wait until Fiverr decides to evaluate you.
As for demotion, FIverr grants you a grace period first, then demotes you after 30 days if you fail to improve your stats.
