Proverbs 6:9–11 says,
How long will you lie there, you sluggard? When will you get up from your sleep? A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to rest — and poverty will come on you like a thief and scarcity like an armed man.
This verse reminds us of the importance of diligence and hard work.
Rest and sleep are essential for our well-being. But too much of it can lead to laziness and poverty.
God wants us to be good stewards of our time and talents. To work diligently and faithfully in all that we do.
Don’t fall into the trap of excessive sleep and laziness.
Seek balance in your life, dedicate time to rest and rejuvenate. But also be proactive in your work.
By being diligent in your work, you honor God and position yourself to receive from Him.
