Dear friend,

As we navigate through the challenges that life throws at us, we sometimes find ourselves in either a survival mode or a thriving mode. At first glance, it may seem like these two modes are the same, but in fact, they are vastly different. Let’s take a closer look at what each mode means and how to identify which one you are in.

Surviving mode is when you are just trying to get through each day. You feel like you are constantly struggling to keep your head above water and just barely keeping it together. You may feel overwhelmed, stressed, and exhausted. Your focus is on staying afloat and getting through your daily tasks and responsibilities with little to no room for anything else.

On the other hand, thriving mode is when you feel empowered, energized, and excited about life. You have a clear vision of what you want, and you are actively working towards your goals. You are open to new experiences and opportunities and are constantly learning and growing. Your focus is on living life to the fullest and enjoying every moment.

So how do you know which mode you are in?

Here are some steps to help you identify whether you are in survival mode or thriving mode:

1. Take a step back and evaluate your life.

Are you constantly stressed, overwhelmed, and just trying to get through each day? Or are you feeling fulfilled, energized, and excited about what’s to come?

2. Look at your priorities.

Are you primarily focused on just getting through your daily tasks and responsibilities, or are you actively pursuing your goals and dreams?

3. Assess your mindset.

Are you constantly worrying about the future or feeling stuck in the past? Or are you living in the present moment and looking forward to the future?

If you find that you are in survival mode, don’t worry. It’s a natural part of life and we all go through it at times. The important thing is to identify it and start taking steps towards thriving mode. This may include prioritizing self-care, setting goals and working towards them, and adopting a growth mindset.

Remember, life is too short to just survive. As women, we have the power to not only survive but to thrive and live our best lives. So ask yourself, are you surviving or thriving? The choice is yours.
